Look at how proud this big brother is, only a week of practise at being a big brother and already doing so well! These are the photographs that are always the hardest for parents to take, and yet are the ones that have such precious memories in years to come. I love how we captured the beautiful proud grins of big brother as he held on tight to his new best friend, so cute!
The new baby was so relaxed and chilled out and happy to be handed around. It’s often the case with the second baby, they just slot into life and make you wonder how you felt it so hard when you only had one! He also timed his nap perfectly, as he was awake for his brother’s photos and then nodded off so we could capture some lovely sleepy, newborn shots. Look at his gorgeous red hair!
All my newborn shoots take place at home to make it easier for the whole family, particularly when you are still getting to know your new baby and work out the logistics of getting out of the house! I often recommend they take place in the first couple of weeks when the baby is still sleepy, and it also means that both parents are around as it often takes place during Dad’s paternity leave.
If you are expecting a baby and are interested in a shoot, please do get in touch. You can see more examples of my work in my baby gallery, or have a browse through my blog to see the range of photos you get within a shoot. My shoot price include images & prints, for more details go to my pricing page. Hope you are managing to keep warm this week. Snow is hopefully on the way!
