I’ve trained specifically in newborn safety and posing techniques. I am skilled at soothing and settling babies, and am able to get them into the required poses comfortably. Every session is completely baby-led — that means if your baby needs feeding, soothing, or a cuddle, we stop and give them what they need, and when they are ready we continue with the shoot.

It’s rare for me to leave a session and not be asked if the parents can hire me as their doula or baby whisperer. Most recently a mother emailed me after our session to say she had gained so much more from the shoot that just photographs. She had learned some tips and tricks on settling and also felt reassured and comforted with the understanding and insight I provided to her initial motherhood worries. Feedback like that is what I like to think makes my job so special.

I capture a mix of close-up detail shots, beautifully posed portraits, and more candid documentary-style images that show the real connection between you and your baby.

These images tell the story of your baby’s first days — remember they are not just creating a time capsule of beautiful memories for you and grandparents, but your baby will love looking back on them as they grown up. They will want to see Mum & Dad in the photos too. Although my children always screech “You look so much younger,” when they do!
